About the The Palisades Community Guide

The The Palisades Community Guide is an independent real estate and relocation resource for The Palisades, an award-winning 1,600-acre master-planned golf and lake community on Lake Wylie in Charlotte, NC.

This website brings the community's scattered details into one place: an honest look at what it is like to live here, neighborhood-by-neighborhood price context, amenities and golf and lake access, HOA and due diligence guidance, assigned schools and commute times, and answers to the questions buyers ask most. It gathers recent Canopy MLS sales data into plain-English market charts, and it walks relocators through the area step by step. No MLS listings are displayed on this site; live homes for sale stay on DortheHavmoeller.com.

It is written for three groups: buyers and relocators comparing Charlotte-area communities, current owners tracking their neighborhood's market, and residents who want a clear reference for schools, amenities, and HOA expectations.

The guide is created and maintained by Dorthe Havmoeller, REALTOR® with Howard Hanna | Allen Tate Real Estate, licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, working with the Kompani.AI team who builds and maintains this website. It is not affiliated with any HOA, country club, or management company.
